The GLE 350de is one of the latest additions to Mercedes-Benz's range of diesel hybrids. With a pure electric range of around 100 km (WLTP) and a combined output of 320hp, we can speak of a powerful Plug-In Hybrid (PHEV) that accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.8 seconds. A high-performance SUV but with very low emissions, which also brings interesting tax advantages.
Power
The GLE 350de has a considerably large range that in most cases allows commuting in an economical and environmentally friendly way. With the battery capacity of 31.2 kWh, the purely electric range is between 82 and 99 km.
The GLE 350de is one of the few Plug-In Hybrids that can be charged using a DC charger. This method of charging is therefore by far the fastest. However, it is also possible to charge the car via the socket, but the charging time for this is much longer than when charging with a DC charger or via a charging station.
