FAQ
Our high-performance charging stations allow your customers to charge their electric vehicles quickly, often between 15 and 30 minutes, depending on the size of the battery. This makes it possible for customers to recharge their car during shopping or a short break, allowing them to get back on the road quickly without a long wait.
At Pluginvest, we do not charge a surcharge on electricity costs. The charging rates on top of the electricity price can be determined entirely by you as the owner of the charging station. Here, you have the flexibility to tailor your rate to your own electricity costs, the market prices for public charging points and the investment in your charging infrastructure.
We recommend keeping tariffs competitive so that as many people as possible come and charge with you. On average, the market price for public charging is around €0.40 per kWh (including VAT).
The electric mobility market consists of several parties. There is the Charge Point Operator (CPO) and the Mobility Service Provider (MSP). The CPO takes care of supplying, installing and maintaining the charge points. The MSP sells mobility products and services via the charging card or token. In most cases, this is a subscription to charging, the corresponding charging card and/or app and payment for your charging sessions.
Pluginvest operates both as a CPO and MSP.
Yes, there are some important permits and regulations to consider when installing charging points. Depending on the location and type of installation, building or environmental permits may be required. There are also standards for safety and accessibility of charging stations. It is also important to comply with tax and energy regulations. Pluginvest helps you meet all relevant requirements.
